I seem to have… misplaced the MIDIs for RPG Maker VX and XP. I’m pretty sure at least one of you uses one of these programs. Could you please send me the MIDIs? Preferably in a .zip file, please. I managed to delete the ME and BG ones. So if you have all of the original MIDIs for XP and VX, that would be great. Thanks.

Hello,
You have some really really good art in here. I just want to ask you, can I use any of this art in my commercial game?
You said “There are also some resources which are NOT to use in commercial games : )” How do I know which ones I can use and which ones I can’t?
Also How would you want me to credit you? Should I just simply add your blog and name into my game credits?
Thank you.

Hi, from a long loooong time ago, I tried to make a game in RPG maker and never finished it, and then I started to learn more about the new html5, php, jquery, code for web basically. I still wanna make a game based on RPG maker style, because I fell the 2D animation still awesome, my problem is the fact that the original RTP have just too few avaiable resources, then, by chance I found ur website, could I use ur resources here for my work?

Have a question, you say it’s free to use, commercial and stuff.
But as I looked into the link some say: Steampunkish or Mack.
Do they let use they’r tile’s for comercial purpose or not?
Kinda confused, hope I get an answer. Regards!

Yes I also would like to know if this blog is active or not, I have the intention of using things I’ve found here commercially but I would like clarification as to which are/aren’t allowed in that scope.

If I wanted to get in touch with an artist whose work has been posted here to inquire about licensing, would you be able to put me in touch with them? Copyright and licensing issues are huge, and there is no attention at all given to these issues. It’s a really big problem for anyone wanting to use these sheets seriously.

Hey man, I’m having troubles with your tileset titled “tilee4.png”
It’s a forest one with plenty of trees and happens to be the one I’m most interested in using.
I can’t seem to get it to work right in RPG Maker VX Ace, all your other tile sets seem to work except this one. It doesn’t seem to be the right dimensions. I’ve scaled it to 512×512 and played around with moving things pixel by pixel, but nothing seems to work.

Hello,
I just read “about” but I do have a request.
Can I use like 2-3 animations when I create a commercial game.
All I do is ask permission.
Sincerely,
John
ArmyBox1
February 26, 2015 at 6:46 am
That entirely depends on the consent of the artists who made those 2-3 animations. This website doesn’t own the animations, so you’ll have to get permission from the real deal to use them in a game (to avoid serious copyright infringement, it’d help to possibly have a signed copy of the rights given by the artist, signed by the artist).

Where is the license to use it?
ArmyBox1
February 26, 2015 at 6:43 am
There is absolutely none. You’re best hope is to search around for the same files or similar that are royalty free (note that though this site allows ‘non-commercial use only’, it does not have the consent of the artists)

Yes, if the game creator doesn’t specifically say that he/she got their sources from somewhere else or that you can use them (implying that the creator owns those tiles), you can’t use them

To be clear for everyone who keeps asking….
Should we assume that, as long as the post itself doesn’t say NON COMMERCIAL or something to the effect of, we can use these tiles for commercial games with credit?
In other words, unless otherwise noted, we can use any images on this blog for commercial purposes. Correct?
Please note that any response will be referenced so as to provide proof of permission.

First time here, thank you for all the hours you have sunk into your pixel art and idk what else that goes into making all this. I just wanted to be sure I could use these tiles, all credit to you of course, without any problems. I’m not looking to charge anything for the game it will certainly be free to play, but it’s my first time working with RPG maker and my god, your tiles are gorgeous!! I cannot fathom how to make it, the best I’ve made of pixel art of a rock…and I don’t like it enough to use it. lol

I would hope this isn’t too much trouble to ask but I would like to make my own sprites for stuff and if it isn’t too much trouble to ask do you think we could set up an internet session one day and you could teach me how you do it, like what programs and all of that jazz because I would like to personally draw my own sprites.
